Aerocoop is a project co financed by the European Union, managed by the Enterprise Europe Network of Bordeaux Aquitaine (FR), Bilbao (ES) and Wiesbaden (DE) and whose partners are: 2ADI, UIMM Aquitaine, GIFAS, BAAS, Aquitaine International, Chambers of Trade and Industry of Aquitaine, Innovation Relay Centre Aquitaine, HEGAN (Spanish cluster), Chamber of Trade and Industry of Bilbao, the Hessen Agentur (Economic and development Agency of the Hesse Land / Germany), Innovation Relay Centre of Hessen (Germany).

Aerocoop aims several objectives :
- Provide SMEs active in the aeronautical subcontracting sector with assistance to facilitate the creation of partnerships, increase SMEs’ competitiveness and development.
- Allow aeronautical subcontractors to answer more easily to prime contractors’ calls for tenders.
- Provide SMEs with operational assistance via a collaborative virtual platform allowing them to get known and know potential partners.

Aerocoop in practice :
Every aeronautical subcontractor can freely registrate on the Aerocoop platform; he is then given a "login" and "password" allowing him to have access to the "Members’ Space", research and exchanges place between European aeronautical subcontractors. Thanks to the "SMEs’ directory", each subcontractor can search for potential partners among registered profiles. The heading "contact" is a means of communicating with the Enterprise Europe Network network managing the website.

Once in the Members Space, each registered subcontractor can directly communicate with the other registered thanks to an internal “electronic mail”. It is also possible to “post and consult an announcement” of partnership. At last, each subscriber can create his own list of “favourite” potential partners.
